Garden of the Gods near Colorado Springs with its large red-rock formations, is a unique blend of plants and wildlife from the grasslands, foothills and mountains.
Mule deer, bighorn sheep, opossums, squirrels, mice, foxes, coyotes, snakes, lizards, hawks, and songbirds, songbirds, songbirds! I've seen mule deer here and am still hoping to see some of the other residents.
The park’s ecology, wildlife, as well as both its prehistoric and recent human activity are all subjects of interest and study.
