Bloodhounds are "the Clydesdales of the hound group", big, rambunctious, incredibly strong clowns, not exactly stars in the obedience ring.
When a Bloodhound is on a trail, his head may drop, folds of skin cover his eyes, his ears sweep the ground - he is literally blind.
