The Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Paz, built in the 1800's, is an impressive stone cathedral in the dusty humble town of La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
La Paz Cathedral is a small gem. Beautifully decorated and serene, it's a restful place with a peaceful atmosphere and a long history, nicely explained in the entry signs in both Spanish and English. What a beautiful house of worship, one of the best on the Baja Peninsula!
This church with heartfelt stained glass and altars evoke deep feelings. Just sit in a pew and feel the serenity wash over you. An absolute must stop by for anyone with a real interest in the history of La Paz.
